Calcium Community Church Re-Opening Sunday, 21 June 2020
NYS Government has officially given the go-ahead to reopen our church and welcome back our congregation. In order to assure an environment as safe as we can for our Christian family, We have carefully reviewed the medical experts guidelines, and implemented some measure to mitigate the spread of this terrible illness.
We have thoroughly cleaned and sanitized all areas of our house of worship.
We will continue to thoroughly clean and sanitize on a weekly basis and between any smaller gathering.
We will be re-starting our in-person worship services in our sanctuary.
We will also continue to video record and post our service on Facebook for our family who may not feel comfortable venturing out.
Social Distancing
Seating is arranged to maintain social distancing. Every other row of chairs is turned facing the back of the sanctuary. These chairs are designed to create a spacer row in order to create a social distancing buffer. Families can sit closer together, however please allow for appropriate spacing on either side of each family unit.
Offering
An offering plate will be placed on the back table for tithing.
Tithing can also be given electronically and securely through the new website using a credit or debit card. (Donate with PayPal)
Older Members
For our older members and those with vulnerable health conditions who may be fearful of returning at once, we will continue offering online worship and discipleship by way of recorded video on our Facebook page.
We will also still offer a DVD recording of the service for our folks without internet access. If you would like a DVD recording of the service, please contact the Pastor or a member of the Board of Elders.
Singing of Hymns
We encourage everyone who would like to sign out loud, to please feel free to do so. We do ask that while singing out loud, please wear a mask covering your nose and mouth.
If you are not comfortable wearing a mask, please feel free to sing quietly or simply hum along.
Masks
Masks and hand sanitizer will be provided as you enter the church. We encourage everyone to wear a mask covering their mouth and nose throughout the service.
However we realize that the masks become hot and uncomfortable, so wearing a mask at all times is not required. However, if you will be singing or within 6 feet of other non-family members of our congregation, please wear a mask.
Children Church Services will be suspended temporarily.
